AlisaBot: platform to create and integrate AI chatbots

Digitup's own product to integrate conversational assistants into websites, apps, WordPress, WhatsApp, Telegram and custom channels.

Project overview

AlisaBot is an in-house product built by Digitup to create conversational assistants and deploy them across different channels: websites, mobile apps, WordPress, custom widgets, WhatsApp, Telegram and other messaging platforms.

The platform adds chatbot capabilities to new or existing projects, connecting conversations to LLMs, external APIs, databases and business rules. It is not a generic widget: it is a reusable technical base that speeds up deployment of custom assistants without starting from scratch on every project.

Context and need

Many companies need to automate support, FAQs, inquiries or lead capture, but do not want a closed, limited tool. They need assistants adapted to their business, with their own data, custom flows and integration with internal systems.

Channels also differ by industry: a corporate website, a WordPress e-commerce store, a mobile app, WhatsApp Business or Telegram. Each client requires a different tone, data and flows. The need was a flexible, multi-channel platform ready to scale without rebuilding the architecture on every deployment.

The problem to solve

The main challenge was reducing the time and cost of building custom chatbots. Every project started from zero: widget, backend, LLM connection, context management, configuration panel and handoff to human agents. That slowed delivery and made quality consistency across clients difficult.

Multi-channel integration also had to work coherently. The same assistant needed to operate on web, WhatsApp and Telegram with shared logic, adapted to each platform's constraints. All of this connected to external APIs, databases and client-specific business rules.

The solution built by Digitup

Digitup built AlisaBot as a reusable base to deploy custom chatbots in different contexts. The system includes an embeddable widget, WordPress plugin, WhatsApp Business and Telegram connectors, a configuration panel and a backend ready to connect with LLMs and external APIs.

Each deployment is adapted to the client: conversational tone, FAQs, human handoff flows, own data and business rules. The platform speeds up go-live without sacrificing customization or integration with each company's digital ecosystem.

What we built

A multi-channel platform designed to deploy custom conversational assistants.

Web widget

Embeddable component for any website or app with design adaptable to the project.

WordPress integration

Plugin and installation flow for corporate sites, e-commerce and landing pages.

WhatsApp and Telegram

Messaging connectors sharing the same conversational logic as the web assistant.

LLM layer

Connection to AI models for contextual responses and dynamic flows.

Configuration panel

Management of FAQs, rules, context and assistant parameters per project.

Human handoff

Escalation to real agents when the conversation requires it or the user requests it.

Key features

Artificial intelligence layer

AlisaBot uses LLMs to interpret queries, maintain conversational context and generate responses aligned with each client's business. AI does not replace product rules: it complements them, enabling more natural conversations without losing control over critical flows, sensitive data or human handoffs.

The platform allows choosing the right model for each case — OpenAI, Gemini or others — and connecting it to databases, APIs and business logic. The result is an assistant that responds intelligently, but within the boundaries defined by each project.

Architecture and technology

The architecture is designed as a reusable base: custom backend, APIs for integrations, widget layer and multi-channel connectors. Each component is deployed and configured per project, maintaining a common core that reduces development time and simplifies maintenance.

The system supports connection with databases, third-party APIs, WhatsApp Business API, Telegram Bot API and WordPress plugins. The AI layer integrates modularly, allowing models and flows to evolve without rebuilding the entire platform.

Where Digitup contributed

In-house product designed, built and maintained by the studio as a base for custom chatbot projects.

Product and architecture

Design of the multi-channel platform and reusable core across clients.

Integrations

Widgets, WordPress, WhatsApp, Telegram and connection with apps and external APIs.

Applied AI

LLM layer with context, business rules and control over conversational flows.

Panel and operations

Per-project configuration, FAQs, human handoff and assistant management.

Custom deployments

AlisaBot adapted to each client, industry and channel without starting from zero.

Evolutionary base

Platform ready to grow with new channels, models and integrations.

Project impact

AlisaBot speeds up development of custom conversational assistants by reusing a proprietary technical base and adapting it to different companies, industries and channels. Projects like Inferno IA or integrations in websites and apps benefit from this infrastructure without duplicating effort.

The impact is not only technical: it reduces delivery times, improves consistency across deployments and offers clients a flexible solution that can evolve — new channels, new flows, new models — without rebuilding the product from scratch.
